Entering the world of photography at the young age of 15, Roger Moukarzel’s passion started with war photography in a conflicted country and region.
He represented the French agency Sigma and later on his work with Reuters allowed him to explore the world experiencing turbulent situations.
Throughout his carrier, Roger Moukarzel interacted with several civilizations, different cultures and religions. He faced every possible situation bringing out of each a message that reveals freedom and beauty. His lens became the natural extension to his mind.
Every idea he brings to light is turned into a mission that he will accomplish pushing him to the extreme.
He will not be satisfied until he unveils the hidden message as in 2008, Le Voile, The Journey of the Veil and so many others.

Chosen to be one of the 6 photographers in the world CNN voted for, his concern in the global warming led him to experience one of the most thrilling journeys with the “Sami People.”
Faced to the confrontation of urbanism towards culture, Roger’s challenge turned into an unbelievable experience proving once more his invincible power to inject his visions through his lens.
Roger Moukarzel’s photography shifted from war to beauty, from death to life, beauty and fashion.
His art has been exposed in more than 15 exhibitions worldwide.
