Neemat Frem knew from the early age of six that he wanted to be an engineer.


At the age of 12, he became involved in the family’s manufacturing operation, centered in the Kesrwan district of Lebanon, spending summer vacations working on machines, then at 15, becoming responsible for tough jobs, sharing the world of the worker, and experiencing the technical and operations sides of the business.

Neemat completed school a Collège Saint Joseph in Antoura.
In 1991, immediately following his graduatioon from AUB, he started work as a Project Engineer at the newly established Unipak Tissue Mill in Halat. Two years later, he founded Phoenix Machinery in Safra.
In 1999, Neemat advanced to General Manager of Unipak Tissue Mill, responsible for management, operations, finance, and sales.

By the time Neemat turned 38 years old, he was responsible for over 8000 employees in 30 manufacturing plants and over 20 local and international commercial companies.

Today in 2016, INDEVCO Group employs over 10,200 employees and operates 76 manufacturing and commercial companies worldwide.

Neemat excelled in management, consolidating INDEVCO from a constellation of separate business units into a multinational industrial group.

During that time, Neemat attended executive leadership and business programs at Harvard, Stanford and Georgetown universities. In 2010, Neemat headed the Association of Lebanese Industrialists as President until 2014.

During that time, in 2013, he launched his life-time project Loubnan El Afdal: Better Lebanon, a national initiative with political, economic and social dimensions aiming to restructure and realize a change in the Lebanese political crisis.
