Because Time waits for no man, the new Lebanese Soprano Diva was ahead of it… as she bloomed internationally by breaking into the Hollywood Music Scene with an interpretation worthy of an Oscar!

Born in 1989 in Beirut, Lebanon, Mayssa Karaa attended the Conservatory of Beirut, where she studied piano, music theory and vocal training.
In 2006, as a new conflict embroiled Lebanon, she moved with her family to Boston, Massachusetts and she gained a place at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, enrolling in 2008 and graduating in 2012.

In the same year, Mayssa sang a piece by Hafez Nazeri, in Persian, with the Berklee World Strings Orchestra. In fall 2013, she recorded a new Arabic adaptation of Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit, created for the multi award-winning film American Hustle; she also performed live for the first time this past July, new Arabic adaptation of the legendary Bob Seger's song "Turn the Page" along with multi Grammy winning producer “Don Was”.


Mayssa also performed with Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito, initially in Boston and subsequently on tour throughout the United States for four consecutive years. In summer 2013, she joined him in Naples for the shooting of the documentary, Enrico Caruso: “His Life, His Music, His City”, soon to be released.

In September 2014 on United Nations International Peace Day, Karaa performed at the world renowned Ziggo Dome of Amsterdam before thousands in attendance, a new adaptation of the "Morning of the third millennium" composed by the Rahbani Brothers with pop Persian sensation Andy Madadian accompanied by the sixth time Grammy nominated Metropole Orchestra. The event broadcast live across 7 continents and over 50 countries.

Now based in Los Angeles, California, Mayssa is soon to release her own debut album, a groundbreaking combination of rock, pop, and Arabic music. The first Single and EP due out this summer is a rock ballad entitled “Over Again". “You become my World", her new song, is soon to be expected; A duet joining her with Grammy nominated and award winning singer songwriter, Marcus Nand.
